On August 19, team members of VA Premier Pawn stepped up to the plate for the third year running to ensure students in the community would kickstart their school year with everything they need to succeed. Through their annual Back2School Backpack Drive, VA Premier Pawn rallied to provide 120 backpacks filled to with essential school supplies to local children.

On the day of the event, the atmosphere was charged with positive energy, hopeful smiles, and the excitement of new beginnings as students received their backpacks with gleaming eyes and wide smiles. Parents exchanged words of gratitude, knowing well that this kind gesture had alleviated some of the financial burdens that come with preparing for a new school year. Everyone who stopped by also enjoyed some sweet treats from Mike’s Italian Ice & Kettle Corn.

Community members and VA Premier Pawn customers made this event possible with their generous support and contributions. Many people donated both supplies and money, filling each backpack with quality materials for the students’ academic journey.
